Emmy’s Awards 2016 was one of the best events of the year that we witnessed. Clad in stunning gowns, we couldn’t resist choosing our favorite celebrities. The top picks from the event’s red carpet looked dazzling in their designer wear, well-tailored dresses. Stars and their stylists brought their best to the event and gave us reasons to talk about them even days after the event. Undoubtedly, the ‘90s theme was dominant at the event, and several celebrities wore dresses that flashed back the fashion trends. We saw various stars ‘ cats walking on the red carpet, from glittery gowns to velvety dresses and chic ensembles to asymmetrical silhouettes. Let’s see the best-dressed celebrities at Emmy’16.
Kristen Bell in Zuhair Murad
She wore one of the best outfits we saw at the event. Her gown had a beautiful floral print which we totally loved. It had that perfection and graceful air about it. Light and elegant, we believe Kristen totally looked amazing and flawless. Her whimsical gown by Zuhair is something that can’t be forgotten in the history of Emmys. It felt like it was literally pulled from a fairytale. The sexy but elegant back look was fabulous. She pulled the entire look together by pairing it with natural hair and makeup. I must say I couldn’t get over the silhouette.
Claire Danes in Schiaparelli
Wasn’t she dressed just like an Emmy award? We were amazed at the colors she chose for the event. Golden shiny hair, a liquid metallic bronze colored gown, she did cloak herself in Emmy-coloured. Her overall appearance is stunning, and the back of her gown is so dramatic. No doubt everyone loved her glittering Grecian-inspired gown just as much as we did. All credits to Schiaparelli Haute Couture and Forevermark Diamonds.
Priyanka Chopra in Jason Wu
Chopra brings the right amount of drama in sweeping red confection. Jason Wu designed her dress, and she was meant to twirl in her beautiful dress. She looked red-hot as always, but we loved her more for being so daring that she twirled in that lovely gown on the red carpet. We enjoyed it as much as you did, Chopra.
Sarah Paulson in Prada
Paulson looks striking in her heavily beaded gown. Her dress reminds me of the ’80s; of course, the word we can use for her is ‘elegance.’ She looked stunning in embroidered, plunging green Prada. Her dress was complemented by a set of earrings by Wilfredo Rosado. I am frankly obsessed with her super-embellished gown!
Kirsten Dunst in Givenchy
Don’t deny that we initially thought of her dress as dull black! But upon closer inspection, we found the vast detailing of the gown becomes apparent. Riccardo Tisci did some really high-fashion work, I must admit! Kirsten was seen flaunting her cleavage in the plunging neckline, and her striped skirt did give her some Beyonce look. We did like her shimmery gown. End of the story!
America Ferrera Jenny Packham
I am sure most of us loved the strappy, streamlined, glittery midnight blue Jenny Packham gown. She just looked great in it. She wore statement earrings with her bold dress adding more appeal. Her hot husband accompanied her, and we totally loved the couple! She looks sexy as hell! Agreed!
Maisie Williams in Markus Lupfer
Arya Stark from ‘The Game of Thrones’ hit the red carpet in an outstanding neck-down work by Markus Lupfer. Though we were astonished at her, changing styles let us appreciate this girl momentarily! She knows how to turn the audience towards her. She looked fresh and charming, and we couldn’t take our eyes off her beautiful eye makeup and lovely hairstyle!
Sarah Hyland in Monique Lhuillier
Wearing pants to the Emmys, umm, not a bad idea. Sarah says she felt liberated when she wore pants to the Emmys. I think they just looked chic. Her strapless, floral-embellished top and cropped black pants looked fabulous! No doubt she ditched the gown, but her dress was something that delighted us. She wore it so well. Her bold choice was quite appealing, and I totally like the elegant floral and butterfly pattern on top. Her makeup and hair are beyond perfection! We love you, Sarah! As for the men, we loved the classic tuxedos on Tony Hale, Jeffrey Tambor, and Jerry Seinfeld. Rami Malek looked stunning in black and white Christian Dior. Terrence Howard was our favorite. He was clad in Isaia. He wore an eye-catching checked jacket paired with a patterned bow tie. Bryan Cranston and David Schwimmer were dashing in the Navy. Anthony Anderson and William H.Macy appeared dapper in all-black.
