Keloid scars

Keloid scars generally appear as an elevated scar, and it is made up of hard and fibrous scar tissues. However, there is no precise cause of keloid scars, but researchers are still exploring the leading cause of Keloid scars. According to some sources, when the top layer your skin suffers any kind of wear and tear or damage, the collagen from your body accumulates in that injured area for healing.

However, when there is an excessive number of collagen accumulation or growth in that area, it leads to keloid scars. The growth process of this injuries is quite slow, and they enlarge year after year, so it is best to nip this kind of issues from the root.

Keloid scars generally appear on places on the skin that have been already damaged like cuts, vaccination spot, insect bites, ear piercing, acne, chicken pox, minor burns and other injuries on the skin. These scars generally appear as red, pink or flesh-colored and they remain intact almost throughout a lifetime.

Removing Keloid Scars 

Sometimes hereditary causes often lead to these injuries, and it has been seen people with dark complexion suffers a lot of this issue. However, there are many ways that you can opt for which will help you to get rid of those scars with ease and that too without damaging your natural skin health.

Using Baking Soda

Baking soda serves as a crucial ingredient that can easily help you to vanish away the keloid scars by promoting the growth of new skin layers on that damaged area. Bakia soda is suggested by many experts as it exfoliates the skin, drives away dead cells, cleans all dirt and serves as a coarse agent.

To heal the scar, you first need to add one teaspoon of baking soda in a bowl which contains three teaspoons of hydrogen peroxide.  Then apply that mixture on the scar and leave it for fifteen minutes. You should use it three times a day and rinse it with warm water.

Utilizing Pure Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe vera has always been known for its healing property, and it effectively treats any kind of scars in the body. Apart from healing, it also keeps the affected area moisturized and fresh.

At first, you should open a pure Aloe Vera leaf and get the gel from that leaf. Then with the help of spatula apply the extract on the keloid scars but do make it a light layer. Then you should leave the gel on the skin for a good amount of time so that it gets absorbed. You should apply the gel for five times in a day, and you should continue to do it for some weeks.

Using Lemon Juice

Lemon juice has always been known for its healing property, and it can quickly cure regular keloid scars by rejuvenating the natural skin. The presence of Vitamin C in the juice serves as a potent antioxidant that vanishes all type of scars. First, you need to extract the juice from a lemon and then apply it on the scar with the help of your hand.

Then keep the liquid for at least one hour and cleanse it with warm water. After cleansing, apply moisturizer, and you should use it twice in a day. You can stay assured that within a month or two you will see its effectiveness.

Utilizing Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is one of the best ways which can assist you to get rid of keloid scars with ease because the minerals present in apple drives away all the fat deposited in that area. To utilize its attributes, you need to first mix one teaspoon of water and two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a small bowl.

Then apply it softly in the damaged area using a cotton ball and let the mixture rest on the skin for half an hour. Then after half an hour, you should wash that area with the help of water. You should continue this remedy for at least three weeks and apply it thrice in a day.

Spreading Crushed Garlic  

Garlic has many attributes which make this one of the best weapons to deal with keloid scars, and according to experts, the extract helps in reducing the rise of fibroblast cells. At first, you should crush a couple of garlic cloves and apply those crushed items on keloid scars.

After applying, you should leave them for fifteen minutes to half an hour. Then wash your face with regular hot water and dry it properly with a towel. Then you should apply some moisturizer on that area which will keep the area nourished.

Lavender Oil

Lavender essential oil is a well-known skin care item, and many expert suggest this oil due to its rejuvenating and skin restoration attributes. To apply the oil, you need first to take some oil in a cup and dip a cotton ball into it. Then implement it on the damaged area and massage it for at least some minutes. You should let it rest so which will allow the oil to get soaked by the skin and then it will heal the area. You should continue this for a month and apply it twice in a day.

Onion Juice

The smell of onion juice might be little rusty, but it can effectively solve the issue keloid scars on your skin. At first, you need to cut an onion into large pieces and then put it in a cheesecloth. Then extract the juice with the help of a bowl and apply it on the scars with the help of a cotton ball. You should do it thrice in a day and continue it for some months.
