DMG Entertainment Movies

DMG Entertainment’s Bloodshot Movie, based on a Valiant Comics character created in 1992 and starring Vin Diesel, promises to be one of the must-see movies of 2020. The title character was a soldier who was brought back to life with nano-computers injected into his blood. It allows him to do things like shapeshift and heal from injuries, but it also erased his memory.

With actors like Sam Heughan, Eliza Gonzalez, and Toby Kebbell working alongside Vin Diesel, this movie should be a big hit. Sadly, it’s still in filming and will be in the cinema in February of 2020. What can you watch until then to become familiar with films release by DMG Entertainment?

Here are five must-watch DMG Entertainment movies:

1 – Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)

Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime, Terminator 2 won multiple Academy Awards and influenced the use of visual effects in films. With technology that included the first partially computer-generated main character and the first use of a natural human motion for a computer-generated character, the film also starred Linda Hamilton, Robert Patrick, and Edward Furlong.

This sequel to the 1984 Terminator follows Sarah Connor and her son John as a more-advanced Terminator is sent back in time to kill John before he grows up to lead the human resistance against Terminators. Schwarzenegger plays a less-advanced Terminator sent back to protect John and Sarah.

Terminator: Dark Fate is set to release this November as a direct sequel to Terminator 2. So be sure to watch this classic first to appreciate the newest addition to the Terminator canon better.

2 – Prisoners (2013)

This thriller has a star-filled cast that includes Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Viola Davis, Terrence Howard, Melissa Leo, Maria Bello, and Paul Dano. This cast and a great storyline found both commercial and critical success. The National Board of Review called it one of the top 10 films of 2013, it grossed $122 million worldwide.

The plot of the film is about the abduction of two girls in Pennsylvania and the search to find the person who took them. As the police follow their leads, the father of one of the girls pursues justice his own way. This film will keep you on the edge of your seat.

3 – Kick-Ass (2010)

Based on a comic book superhero, Kick-Ass stars Aaron Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Mark Strong, Chloë Grace Moretz, and Nicolas Cage. The movie was popular with both critics and moviegoers and still has a cult following. A sequel was released in August of 2013.

Kick-Ass is about a teenager who decides to turn himself into a superhero. After his first attempt at being a superhero goes wrong, he gains some actual powers and becomes famous after saving a man from a gang attack.

4 – Iron Man 3 (2013)

The seventh film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Iron Man 3 stars Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jon Favreau, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Don Cheadle, James Badge Dale, Stéphanie Szostak, and Ben Kingsley. It was nominated for Best Visual Effects for both an Academy Award and a BAFTA. It was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2013, raking in $1.2 billion worldwide.

Iron Man 3 starts where the plot of The Avengers leaves off. It is more character-centric than many previous Marvel movies. This movie pits Iron Man against a terrorist known as the Mandarin. The ending seems to show Tony Stark agreeing to give up life as Iron Man.

5 – Looper (2012)

This science fiction action film stars Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Emily Blunt. Made on a $30 million budget, Looper grossed $176 million and also garnered critical acclaim.

Looper is about a future crime syndicate which uses time travel to get away with murder. It sends victims into the past to be killed before modern-day tracking systems make it nearly impossible to get rid of bodies. Timelines collide as people encounter future versions of themselves.
